Spot the Bunneh

Where's Mickey?

Give up?

Here he is!

Foo' wabbit.

I bought these mini-bales of hay from BinkyBunny.com (one young oat, one orchard) and they are a perfect fit for Mick's cage. I wasn't sure if he was going to like them or not, but since he had his teeth done, he's been going to town on the oat bale. Apparently the only thing he doesn't like, though, is where I put it--I had it up against the  right side of the cage and he keeps moving it out to where you see it. I'm tempted to switch it with the orchard bale (which is next to his throne and he hasn't touched it yet) to see what he'll do.

Mine don't like things against their "walls" either. They move stuff I put against the wall away enough they can hide behind or run around it. Mick has a very comfy looking throne room!

I have tried to explain to him that if he moves the bale there, he won't have any room for stretching out and flopping, but he is a stubborn bunneh and insists on moving it anyway. Some bunnehs never learn.

Mick's got some cage there! Looks huge.

Good thing the cage has a top - that hay bale looks like a wonderful launching pad for a Mick-leap.

Mickey's made himself a bunker. Everybun needs one now.

Sounds like Mr. Mick has certain opinions about the bun shui of hay.

Fortress of Solitude.

Hm. I was under the impression that oat hay is relatively fatty. (not as bad as alfalfa hay, but not as good as timmo). Maybe ration the oat hay? I could be wrong.

I have truly learned that no matter how fabulously I decorate a space, buns are the worst clients ever and will destroy my artistic visions in a matter of seconds. Just give up. Mick will always win. The buns always do.

I have a hidey box and a litter box and a "nest box" and two blankies in Coop's and Ding's living quarters. When I clean, I put them all along the walls so they can stretch out in the middle and still have plenty of room for the food dishes when it's mealtime. In 10 minutes, everything is pushed into the middle so they can have a racetrack around the perimeter ... Might be a safety thing... ? ... they might have to be able to see the walls and who's coming at them? Or maybe it just has to be THEIR way not mine ... more likely. They don't listen to me either, Jade!
