Things We Disapprove Of

SNOW.

LOTS OF SNOW.

SNOW THAT DESTROYS A VERY LARGE
AND VERY FULL BURNING BUSH.

*!&;^%$ SNOW!

We were without electricity, heat and water for about 18 hours over the weekend. It was not pretty, but we managed to stay relatively warm and didn't try to kill each other. There's still people doing without, though, so we're counting our blessings.
"Sez you--I'm still miffed that you didn't let me out to play Saturday night.
I expect treats and an apology, pronto."
One last thing: check in here tomorrow (November 1st) for our big giveaway!

yikes, that looks cold, we are just getting our summer now, but your situation looks way out of hand

Early winter! Glad your power is back on! Will you be making a snowbun for Halloween?

d.moll: WAY out of hand; we've had snow in October before, but nowhere near this much in one fell swoop, which is why it caused this much damage.

FF: Unfortunately, this snow isn't the good snowbun-making kind; it's more crystalline and doesn't stick together. My urge is to get a flamethrower and draw fire-bunnies in it, but the local fire dept. frowns on that.

WOW. You really got slammed. That is not ok, we disapprove also, big time. We got a couple inches, thankfully it's all gone already. But this does not bode well for the rest of the season, which hasn't technically started yet.

Sorry to hear you lost power :( I think I would want to go out there and burn it all too.

Wow! That is serious snow! And in October too! Glas you are all well. Keep warm. I'm worried now though, as they usually say whatever weather the NE USA gets that we will get here in the UK a couple of weeks later! Yikes!

Not good - at all. We could not believe the reports. Glad all survived - well - maybe not the bush, but it'll probably come back bushier next year for the trauma. The "Good Old Days" - pfttttttt. They can have them - give me a furnace, lights, and hot water!!!!

Wow, that is a ton of snow! Hard to believe for this time of year. Hope this isn't an indication of a rough winter.

I know how you must feel about your burning bush...
