New Stuff--part 1

As I mentioned before, I always add to my rabbit-stuff collection at this time of year--and I did. I was going to post about all the lovely trinket boxes and other things I got, but one particular thing I purchased has taken precedence:

This plastic slinky toy was bought through the Colorado HRS Gift Shop website, which offers stuff for rabbits as well as about rabbits, and the proceeds benefit rabbits, so it's even better. Since Mickey LOVES to toss stuff around, I knew he'd love this toy, and as you can see below, I was right:

Tomorrow, I'll show you all the great stuff I got for me. :)

What is in the bowl next to his slinky? Looks like chopped carrots...

That's his dish of papaya in pineapple juice--keeps him from developing hairballs.

Pineapple juice! Yummy for a bunny tummy! We have a few of those slinkys - trashed!

So far, the slinky's survived a whole lot of flinging. It's become his "summoning bell"; when Mickey wants attention, all he has to do is make a racket with the slinky and he gets noticed.

A daily dose of chopped papaya in pineapple juice is essential these days; the spring weather's got him shedding like mad again. I don't know how one rabbit can produce SO much fur!
